What we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Project briefs
When you submit a project brief we collect what you type (name, contact details, organization, project description, location, timing and budget band), the consent statement you accepted, the page you sent it from, and basic attribution (referrer and campaign tags). We store a one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting, not the address itself.
We use the brief to read and respond to your enquiry. If you ask for help pricing work, we may share the project details you provided with a contractor or supplier who could do the work, only after telling you and with your agreement.
Calculators and browsing
Calculators run in your browser; nothing you enter in them is sent to us. The site stores small preferences in your browser (whether film playback is on, and the first page you landed on so a later brief can be attributed). We do not use advertising cookies.
Retention and your rights
Briefs are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted. You can ask to see, correct or delete a brief you sent by submitting a new brief marked “Privacy request” with the email address you used.
Service providers
The site and its database run on Cloudflare. Fonts are served by Google Fonts.
